Mayflower is crowned World Class UK Champions

And before we knew it, it was the UK finals.  This season seems to have flown by!  Mayflower's World guard got to perform first and last on finals day - and with a 10 hour gap between, it makes it a challenging day for the members but after their best run of the season in prelims they were well set up for an even stronger performance to a sell out crowd in the evening.

So finals rolled around and the guard had another calm but focused warm up and was ready to perform one last time in the UK for a packed and enthusiastic crowd.  The guard had their best run of the season and received a standing ovation at the end of their performance.
Standing O to end our UK season!

Mayflower has 4 guards that make up the Mayflower family.  This approach has been vital in ensuring the longevity of the Mayflower organisation.  All 4 teams made finals with our Cadets placing 6th, our Juniors placing 5th and our outstanding young A guard having an undefeated season and winning their class by 6 points!

It was fitting end to a fantastic UK season.  We made a swift exit since we had a long journey back to Essex and an extremely early start on Monday morning.

Sunday was spent disassembling and packing props and taking flags off poles.  We take off for Dayton at 7.30am on Monday morning,
